This award is presented to a squad or work group with the overall best performance in annual on-site safety inspection performance, annual accident reports (personal and vehicular) and welfare and vehicle cleanliness inspections.

Finalists 
Construction Operational Squad, Perth & Kinross – Neil and his team work mainly on the trunk road with Scotland Transerv on the A9 North and consistently achieve a high percentage on safety inspections.

Construction Operational Squad, Dundee – Bruce and his squad had the highest score in Dundee. Throughout the year they maintained high scores and consistent feedback from site safety inspections.

Construction Operational Squad, Angus – Jim and his team are involved in a number of civil contracts including patching, kerbing, drainage, surface dressing and snow clearing. Safety is high on the team’s agenda.

Winner – Construction Operational Squad, Perth & Kinross. With an exceptionally high percentage score on safety inspections and no accidents, this team came out on top.
