TAYSIDE CONTRACTS JOINT COMMITTEE
Whilst the day to day functions of Tayside Contracts are the responsibility of the Managing Director, the overall governance of the organisation is the responsibility of a Joint Committee, comprising of 18 elected members made up of:
- 5 elected members from Angus Council
- 6 elected members from Dundee City Council
- 7 elected members from Perth & Kinross Council

The Covenership of the Joint Committee, currently with Angus Council, is rotated on a yearly basis on 1 April each year in which there are no ordinary elections of Councillors to the Constituent Council. At this point the Vice Convener is elevated to Convener, the Vice Convener Elect to Vice Convener with the Covener reverting to Vice Convener Elect.
Additionally, the Clerk to the Joint Committee is currently Patricia McIlquham, Depute Chief Executive (Support Services) of Dundee City Council. David Dorward, Depute Chief Executive (Finance) also of Dundee City Council carries out the role of Proper Officer.
