Collace Quarry

We operate a quarry at Collace in Perthshire, which supplies a wide range of roadstone products and maximises the use of recycled material.

The Quarry

Our centrally located Quarry at Collace in Perthshire is close to the Dundee and Angus areas, and so is ideally placed to serve the needs of customers looking for road building or construction materials products within the Tayside and surrounding areas. 

Each year our Quarry produces around 100,000 tonnes of road stone materials, which includes more than 70,000 tonnes of asphalt mixes. This is mainly used to provide the materials for our Councils` roads, and footpath repairs and replacements across Tayside, which in turn helps keep our travelling public safe on well-maintained roads. 

However, we also provide a range of aggregate and fill materials for all manner of large and small construction projects including: 

  • House building    
  • Small, medium, and large-scale construction projects,  
  • Construction companies,  
  • Householders looking to improve their driveways and outdoor areas  

We can serve the needs of anything from a domestic driveway, right up to providing hundreds of thousands of tonnes for the new Cross Tay Link Road.

We Recycle 

We also recycle around 90% of our road construction materials, with the recycled materials also available for customers.  We have recycling centres located at Forfar, Arbroath, Dundee and at Collace Quarry    - so we are well placed locally to supply recycled products to our customers across Tayside.  This is both an inexpensive and environmentally sustainable way for customers to meet their needs.

We have access to a fleet of trucks that can provide a delivery service, or if you prefer, you’re welcome to uplift the materials direct.  

We implement the highest industry standards, so you can have confidence in the products you get from us. All our products are UKCA marked ensuring the highest quality, and we produce to established ISO 9001 Quality Management System and ISO 14001 Environmental Management System standards.

Our asphalt is produced to BS EN13108. We have our own fully accredited UKAS certified laboratory testing facilities.
