Roadstone products
The Construction Division operates a quarry at Collace in Perthshire which supplies coated roadstone along with a wide range of dry roadstone products.
- Hot Rolled Asphalts
- Stone Mastic Asphalts
- Dense Bitumen Macadams
- UKAS accredited laboratory for material testing
- A Quality Assurance scheme to BS EN ISO 9002 is in operation, accredited by BSIQA
- An Environmental Management scheme to BS EN ISO 14001 is also in operation, again accredited by BSIQA
- Coated roadstone is laid by paver finisher on roads, carparks, airfields and yard areas.
Asphaltic, concrete and other road construction materials are crushed, screened and then blended to specified gradings for use as sub-grade and roadbase with additional bitumen added to the mix if required.

Recycling
The Construction Division’s aim is to maximise the use of recycled material and minimise the amount of material being tipped in Landfill sites. The current range of material being produced is:
- Sub base and road base
- General fill
- Top Soil
- Drainage and Filter Bedding
